Healthcare Waste Management Training
KUYRCC successfully conducted 'One Day Health-Care Waste Management Training' on August 23 at NRCS National Training Center. This training provided professional guidance to healthcare workers around Banepa for proper methods of disposal of medical wastes generated by their organizations.

Healthcare Waste Management Training 2024
KUYRCC successfully conducted 'One Day Health-Care Waste Management Training' on August 23 at NRCS National Training Center, Banepa. This comprehensive training provided professional guidance to healthcare workers around Banepa for proper methods of disposal of medical wastes generated by their organizations. The training was supported by Health Environment and Climate Action Foundation (HECAF 360) for technical support and NRCS Banepa for official support and guidance. This initiative aligns with IFRC Solferino Academy standards and NRCS Kavre guidelines.

Free Dental Camp at Kavre English Secondary School
KUYRCC successfully conducted 'One Day Free Dental Camp' at Kavre English Secondary School, Panauti. More than 400 students were served during this comprehensive dental care camp. This initiative was completed with the invaluable help of our respected medical team from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences - Dhulikhel Hospital. We are also thankful to the KUSWD team and Kavre English Secondary School administration for their continuous support and collaboration in making this health camp a success.

First Aid Volunteers at Panauti Jatra 2025
Amidst the vibrant energy of this year's Panauti Jatra 2025, our dedicated First Aid Volunteers stepped up once again to serve those in need during the crowded festival celebrations. Our volunteers provided essential medical assistance and emergency response services throughout the festival period. A heartfelt thank you to the Nepal Red Cross Society, Kavre District Chapter, for the continued trust and partnership, and to the NRCS Panauti Sub-Chapter for recognizing our unwavering commitment to community service. Urgent appeal and relief efforts for victims of landslides and floods in Kavre. KUYRCC organized collection of funds and essential materials like food, blankets, and medical supplies for affected families. Multiple drop-off points were established across campus to facilitate community support.

Collaboration with Danish Red Cross in Kavre
KUYRCC team joined Danish Red Cross representatives to assess flood and landslide impacts in Kavre District, including visits to Bethanchowk village, one of the hardest-hit areas. Our team facilitated translations and helped document local experiences for global support efforts, strengthening humanitarian ties.
